Make Your Own Doll

Kids Kreations has five sizes of vinyl dolls that can be built to satisfy all ages. We invite you to visit our store for a “hands-on” experience or you may select your preferences here on our website and we can build your favorite doll for you.

We are happy to help you make a look-a-like doll from a picture of your child. Or you may simply create a custom doll with your preferred qualities.

The dolls are not anatomically correct so they can be dressed to be a boy or a girl. Each doll comes with a cloth heart and a birth certificate.

Each doll comes with an outfit up to a $20.00 value, included in the list price.

Doll Making Process

Making a doll at Kids Kreations involves a five step selection process. You must first select the size of doll you would like to create by selecting the body size in step one. Step two involves selecting the skin tone of your doll. In step three, you select the facial expression. Next, you select the eye color of your preference. In step five, hair style and color are selected. The final step is selecting your new doll’s first outfit ($20 or less outfit included in price of doll).

Body Size and Style

Our “design your own” dolls come in a variety of five sizes and two body styles. Each size offers similar design options. All of the doll bodies are made of cloth with a vinyl head, arms and legs.

Body Size
We carry 4 sizes of “baby body” style dolls. 17” – 19” – 20” – 22”

The cloth bodies of our 18 inch dolls are made locally by an Amish seamstress. This doll wears doll clothes similar in size to other 18” premium industry brands.

Body Style
There are two popular “sitting” styles available. Both of our “sitting” styles are filled with beads to make them sit properly and feel more like the weight of a baby. These are most often used when creating a look-a-like doll.

If you’d prefer a doll that resembles a child rather than an infant, our 18″ doll is ideal. It can be propped up to stand and be admired, or it can be a great companion for a child for many years of play. This doll is often compared to other popular doll brands.

Skin Tone

Most of our doll varieties come in in a variety of skin tones including extra light, light, or medium. Please view the options below and select a skin tone of your choice.

Facial Expression

There are many facial expression options available based on your desired preference. The options are identified for either the 18″ or 22″ dolls. They come in extra light, light, and medium skin tones.

We carry four of the options show below for eye color selection: Blue, Brown, Hazel, & Green. Please view the depiction below and select an eye color of your choice.

Hair Color & Style

We have a very large variety of wigs in various lengths, styles and colors. Not all hair styles come in all colors. Be sure to check availability of the hair color with the hair style you prefer.
Wigs are included in the price of your doll, but may also be purchased separately for the price listed below the wig.
